ISO 9001

Internal auditing is part of ISO standard whereby necessary to be implemented to fulfill the requirement. Its purpose is to assist management to assess and ensure QMS implemented is effective in achieving company’s Quality Objective. I had heard too much complain of too many auditing conducted within a year in one project or company but hey, my project is audited every 3 months. It’s ok to have at least once a year but not too many which can be quite daunting and exhausting. In my opinion ISO auditing can make people aware of important requirement stated in contract such as number of drawings to be submitted to client, days of notice to client to perform testing works and many more. If too many details incorporated in one procedure, this makes people confuse and interpret the procedure in wrong way. My ex-mentor had given me good advice during my implementation of ISO 9001 in my previous company. Just draw a simple flowchart and convert to simple procedure, as long as the proce
